As a n + 1 = a n + a n - 1 , we have
a 3 = a 2 + 1 = a 2 + a 2 - 1 = a 2 + a 1 = 5 - 1 = 4
a 4 = a 3 + 1 = a 3 + a 3 - 1 = a 3 + a 2 = 4 + 5 = 9
a 5 = a 4 + 1 = a 4 + a 4 - 1 = a 4 + a 3 = 9 + 4 = 13
Hence, first five terms are { - 1 , 5 , 4 , 9 , 13 }
