a 1 = 2
Now as a n + 1 = a n - n
a 2 = a 1 + 1 = a 1 - 1 = 2 - 1 = 1
a 3 = a 2 + 1 = a 2 - 2 = 1 - 2 = - 1
a 4 = a 3 + 1 = a 3 - 3 = - 1 - 3 = - 4
a 5 = a 4 + 1 = a 4 - 4 = - 4 - 4 = - 8
Hence first five terms are { 2 , 1 , - 1 , - 4 , - 8 }
