First picture frame, on sale = x = $4.69
Second picture frame, not on sale = y = ?
4.69 + y = 10.64
y = 10.64 - 4.69
y = $5.95
Regular price - Sale price = how much the store reduced the price for the sale, gives you:
y - x = 5.95 - 4.69 = $1.26 price reduction for the sale
