a. Effect size is the quantification of difference between two groups being tested and statistical significance quantifies whether that difference is due to chance.
So more the effect size, lesser will be the possibility to conclude that the difference is due to chance.
b. Directly related. If the groups vary then effect size would be large and so will be the difference in means.
c. More the effect size, more the variability.
d. More the sample size, more will be the power of statistical test.
