Step 1
To find: derivative of the function y=(x+2)x+2.
Solution:
y=(x+2)x+2
y=x2+2x+2
Differentiating both sides w.r.t we get:
dydx=ddx(x2+2x+2)
dydx=ddx(x2)+ddx(2x)+ddx(2)
dydx=2x+2+0 (using gddx(xn)=nxn1, and derivative of constant t term = 0)
dydx=2x+2.
Step 2
Result:
Derivative of the function y=(x+2)x+2=2x+2.
