Let a=x+y, b=xy. Then using the product to sum identities:
sinb=3sin(a+b2cos(ab21=32(sina+sinb)1
sina=2cos(a+b2)sin(ab2)=(sinasinb)
and by a further substitution p=sina, q=sinb:
2q=3p+3q2, p=qp
which gives 0=3p+q2=3p+2p2, thus p=25 and q=45 and you can work your way backwards.
