For the zeros:
Put P(x)=0
So,
P(x)=0
3x3+5x22x4=0
(x+1)(3x2+2x4)=0
Using the Zero Factor Principle: If ab=0 then a=0 or b=0
So,
x+1=0 or 3x2+2x4=0
Now,
For a quadratic equation of the form ax2+bx+c=0 the solution are
x=b±b24ac2a
Therefore,
x+1=0x=1
And
3x2+2x4=0
x=2±224.3(4)23
x=2±21323
x=1±133
x=1+133,1133
Hence, the real zeros of the given polynomial are:
x=1,1+133,1133
