Given,
x+4=6x+194
Step 2
On simplification, we get
(x+4)12=(6x+19)14
[(x+4)12]4=[(6x+19)14]4 [Raising power 4 on both sides]
(x+4)2=6x+19
x2+8x+16=6x+19
x2+2x3=0
x2x+3x3=0
x(x1)+3(x1)=0
(x1)(x+3)=0
x1=0 or x+3=0
x=1 or x=3
Therefore solutions are,
x=-3, 1.
