Given equation is:
(5x+4)(x-1)=2
Multiplying we get,
5x2+4x5x42=0
5x2x6=0
Using middle term factorization we get,
5x2+5x6x6=0
5x(x+1)6(x+1)=0
(x+1)(5x6)=0
(x+1)=0;(5x6)=0
x=1;x=65
Hence the answers.
