Plane speed = 150mi/hr
D = Distance from A to B
X = speed between A and B (wind)
Speed of plane plus wind multiplied by time will give you distance in miles
2(150 + x) = D
Coming back, you subtract X because you are going into thewind
2(150 - x) = D- 60 -60 because in 2 hours, you are 60 miles away
300 + 2x = D
300 - 2x = D - 60
Add the 2 equations to get
600 = 2D - 60
D = 330 miles
Wind = 15 mi/hr
