average gpa before the last semester = 2.69
total credit hours before last semester = 104
credit hours in last semester = 16
gpa scored in last semester = 4.0
therefore the average gpa = sum of (product of credit hours and gpa ) / (total credit hours)
= ( 2.69 10 4 ) + ( 16 4 ) 104 + 16 = 279.76 + 64 120 = 2.87
so the overall gpa scored is 2.87 which is less then 3
the gpa scored is 0.13 less then 3.
