Let p and b be the number of pens boxes and batteries boxes in August repuchrely. Then
7 p + 3 b = 952
batteries = $3
pens box = $7
Also, no. of batteries sold is 7 times the no. of pens boxes sold. Hence
b=7p
From equations, we have
7 p + 3 × 7 p = 952 28 p = 952 p = 34
From equation
b = 7 × 34 b = 238
