The area of the corridor is
S=a*b
a= 30 m
b=35 dm
1 m = 10 dm, then
b= 35:10=3.5 m
S = 30 3.5 = 105 m 2 corridor area
The linoleum roll has the following parameters:
a= 12 m
b= 160 cm
1 m=100 cm, so
b= 160:100=1.6 m
Area of 1 roll of linoleum
12 1.6 = 19.2 m 2
105:19.2≈5, 47 rolls, since 5 rolls is not enough, round up to 6 rolls.
The smallest quantity will be 6 rolls of linoleum.
