Proof of reciprocal logarithm
I need to prove this logarithm.
log p ( 1 x ) = log p ( x )
The first step would be ln ( 1 / x ) / ln p
I need help as to what the next step would be.

In any base,
log ( x y ) = log ( x ) + log ( y )
hence
log ( x ) + log ( 1 x ) = log ( x 1 x ) = log ( 1 ) = 0.
