This can only happen if more than half of the values are the same and are all the highest values.
For example:
1,2,3,4,8,8,8,8,8
There are nine values, but five of them are the same. The median is the 8 shown.
The size of the lower values is not involved at all, but all the top half have to be the same.
0,1,2,3,3,5,5,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48
Median = 48 + 48 2 = 48
