Sampling: Sampling is a procedure to take the samples from the population. There are four types of sampling procedures. They are
Simple Random Sampling
Stratified Random Sampling
Systematic Random Sampling
Cluster Random Sampling
Stratified Random Sampling or Stratified sampling is the sampling technique where the entire population is divided into groups and a random sample of these groups are selected and all observations of the selected groups are included in the sample.
From the above options, fourth option is correct i.e., Stratified Sampling.
Because, in stratified sampling, we divide the whole population into equal subgroups is called as strata and we select the samples from each strata (based on size) and from each strata one (or) more samples will be selected.
First option is not correct option. Because, in random sampling, we select each sample and that each sample has equal chance of being selected.
Second option is not correct option. Because, in systematic sampling, we consider population size N and sample size n then N n where k is the sampling interval and every k t h observation being selected as sample.
Third option is not correct option. Because, in cluster sampling, we divide the whole population into cluster and select the data from each cluster.
