M ( x , y ) = y 2 and N ( x , y ) = x y
Once, I controlled condition exactness of differential equation,
d M d y = 2 y and d N d x = y
Hence, it wasn't exact.
I decided to integration factor accordingly x
Hence,
P = e d M d y - d N d x N d x
= e 2 y - y x y d x
= e d x x
= e ln x
= x
After multiplying both sides with P=x,
x y 2 d x + x 2 y d y = 0
After controlling exactness condition of it,
d ( x y 2 ) d y = d ( x 2 y ) d x = 2 x y
Thus, solution of it,
x y 2 d x + x 2 y d y = 0
d ( 1 2 x 2 y 2 ) = 0
1 2 x 2 y 2 = C
