A bowl contains 7 pennies, 9 nickels, and 4 dimes. Elyse removes one coin at random from the bowl and does not replace it. She then removes a second coin at random. What is the probability that both will be dimes?

Probability of selecting a dime is 420
If there is no replacement then there are only 19 coins left now. If we take a dime out on the first pick there are only 3 left now so the second pick is 319
The probability that you will pick two dimes is
420×319=12380=395
