What type of bias would be most prevalent in this study?a.Nonresponse bias b.Response bias c.Selection bias Does having many internet tabs open affect the completion of a task? Researchers gathered a random sample of college students. Students were given ten minutes and assigned a complex task to be completed using any resources from the internet. The students self-reported whether they completed the task. For each student, the researchers recorded the following variables: Completion status: whether or not the student successfully completed the task Tab count: the number of tabs the student had open while completing the task Tab usage status: student opened many different internet tabs simultaneously ("tab collector") or student used at most two tabs at a time ("streamlined searcher")

Bias can be briefly explained as a misrepresentation of a sampling observation, which might be through internationally or unintentionally, during a sample survey. The bias can be introduced in the sample survey by both surveyed or the responder.
The nonresponsive bias occurs while some subjects under the sample study are responsive to the questions. As in this case, the survey was conducted for a Student group, which assume to have self-reported their response have been recorded, so we eliminate the possibility of "Nonresponsive Bias".
Selection Bias is the misrepresentation of the assumed portion of the population, for which the sampling is being carried out. It is by default committed by the surveyor. In this study, the "student group" has been a homogeneous group, so the possibility of its existence is ignored.
Response Bias is assumed to be introduced in the sample when we expect a faulty or false response for the expected sample questionnaires. It is committed by the respondents through providing misinformation. As in this study, the Students have been assumed to have self-reported, we can certainly expect some misinformation or false information.
So the answer is 'Response bias".
