What are the three principle sources of magnetic moment of a free atom? Which of them is responsible for dia, para, and ferromagnetism ?

In what direction would the net force be if the bar magnet were turned around, or the current in the loop reversed? What can you say about the net force if the field were uniform $(\mathrm{\theta <!--\; \theta \; -->}=0)$?

Would it be possible to make a liquid electromagnet using ferrofluid and Ferris sulfate liquid. Having the core be 3/4s of it be ferris sulfate and 1/4 be ferrofluid. Then just having a normal coil. Would that work and if it does would it be stronger then normal electromagnets?

Magnetic force and frames of reference
I'm having a hard time trying to understand the next situation:
Suppose that I have a magnet that creates a quite uniform magnetic filed $\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{B}$. In the vicinity of this magnet there is a particle with charge $q$ that is moving with velocity $\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{v}$ in some direction.
This is, in the frame of reference of the magnet, the particle is moving with velocity $\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{v}$ and therefore the particle experiences a force given by: $\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{F}=q(\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{v}\times <!--\; \times \; -->\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{B})$. This would cause the path of the particle to curve around the magnetic field.
On the other hand, an observer situated in the particle would see the magnet moving with velocity ${\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{v}}^{\prime }=-<!--\; -\; -->\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{v}$. How would this observer account for the movement of the magnet caused by the force $F^{\prime }$?
I believe that the force ${\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{F}}^{\prime }$ is given by the relativistic transformation:
${\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{F}}^{\prime }=-<!--\; -\; -->\mathrm{\gamma <!--\; \gamma \; -->}\stackrel{\to <!--\; \to \; -->}{F}$
Knowing that the force is perpendicular to the velocity (this is if, for instance, the particle is moving along the x axis, then the force is along the y axis).
I am in the early stages of understanding relativistic mechanics so please forgive me is the question looks silly. Thanks in advance.

Magnetic force on charges moving parallel with equal velocity
As we know when charges moving in an magnetic field experiences a force but what if both the body causing the field the charge under consideration moves with same velocity?....Correct me if I am wrong if we consider any external frame than it is justifiable that force acts on charges body but what if we take the charge as frame of refernce

Light is an Electomagnetic wave. When I create an electromagnet by passing electricity wound around a core and keep changing the electric field, does it emit photons?
Is the frequency of electromagnetic radiation equals the frequency of change in the electric field? If yes can it emit visible light if the frequency is in that range?

Large electromagnet using a 12" long, 3" diameter mild steel core. I'm using 18 awg magnet wire. Wire length is 3000 ft which gives me approximately 3600 turns with resistance at 18 ohms.
Case1: Using a variable transformer I dial up the voltage from 0 VAC to 120 VAC and the magnet barely picks up paper clips. The wire gets warm pretty fast.
Case2: Using a 9-volt battery the magnet is easily 10 times stronger than in case1.
Case3: Using a variable DC power supply I dial up the voltage from 0 VDC to 30 VDC. The magnet pulls nails out of my hand. It is easily 100 times stronger than case1.

If apply the electric and magnetic field separately in two perpendicular directions on a conductor then is it behaves like conductor placed in the electromagnetic field? Is" electromagnetic field "and field acting in the perpendicular directions is the same?

Why and how does the 'clock rule' of electromagnetism (i.e. current flows clockwise as seen from the south pole of an electromagnet) work?

Rate of Acceleration of an Object Pulled by Magnetic Force
Gravity on earth pulls objects toward it with an acceleration of 9.8 m/s/s on Earth until the object reaches it's max potential free fall speed. (I call this terminal velocity though I think that this is wrong by definition)
a) Is there a similar equation for the acceleration of an object being pulled by magnetism?
b) Is there a "terminal velocity" of an object being accelerated by magnetism alone? (This would have to mean that the origin of the magnetic field has zero mass, so I'm thinking this is a theoretical question)
c) Is it possible (however unlikely) that one object can be held in orbit around another by magnetism with minimal gravitational influence? That is to say, can an equilibrium be found between the magnetic force pulling against an object and the velocity of an object. (best example, moon orbiting Earth because of an equilibrium of gravitational force and the velocity of the moon revolving around it)

P.S. It would also be interesting to know if there is a difference in the equations for magnetic repulsion, or if the forces are equal.

Hypothetical (but potential real) situation:
I am holding electromagnet that weights 1kg. This electromagnet is being used to hold up a 10kg weight.
Would I feel like I am holding 11kg, or 1kg?

A large cylindrical neodimium magnet or stack of same, with a coil wound around it. In an unpowered state the magnet would have a certain attraction. With one polarity of current, I would imagine the coil would amplify the permanent magnet field/attraction. With the reverse it would decrease the attraction, potentially neutralise or invert it. Is this feasible or likely to damage the permanent magnet?
