The following are the main disadvantages of geothermal energy:
(1) It is exceedingly difficult and not always practical to transmit geothermal energy.
(2) Geothermal energy is not entirely environmentally friendly. The construction of these power plants results in a sizable amount of soil degradation. Consequently, it will have long-lasting effects on the neighboring terrain.
(3) There aren't many locations on earth where geothermal power plants can be built. As a result, there aren't many places to set up the plants.
However, the method for obtaining geothermal energy is exceedingly expensive and challenging to put up. Since we frequently have to work quite hard to get the most out of it.
So answer is "Difficult to transport", "Land degradation", "Limited location".
