1 quarter is 25 cents and 1 dime is 10 cents.
Let the number of quarters =x. Then, the number of dimes =x+4. So
( x 25 ) + ( x + 4 ) 10 = $ 7.05 = 705 cents
25 x + 10 x + 40 = 705
35 x = 665
x = 665 35 = 19
Parker has 19 quarters and 19+4=23 dimes in all.
