We know that Gravitational force is given as

Here,
G is the universal gravitational constant
M is the mass of the first object
m is the mass of the second object
R is the distance between the objects
Step 2
If we consider the first object as sun in the solar system and second object as earth in the solar system, then the distance between earth and sun is increasing as earth moved from third planet to fifth planet.
Thus the distance between sun and earth increases, and we know that the gravitational force is inversely proportional to square of distance between the object.
Therefore, the gravitational force between earth and sun decreases.
