I don't understand why the answer is 1 and not 2. If you plug1 in the area and circumference do not equal the same thing.Although it does with 2...

Circumference: π × r 2
Area: π ×d or 2 × π ×r
You can get the answer by looking at the two formulas andsimplyfying. They both have pi in them so immediatly we can takethat out. Then we are
left with:
r 2 = 2r
What number squares is the same as it is doubled? The answeris two.
One does not work because one squared equals one, but 2 timesone equals two. This would give us different values.
