Perimeter = 28 m
Lenght of rectangle is 5 more than twice its width.
Suppose Length of rectangle = L
width of rectangle = b
L = 2 × b + 5
We know
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(L+b)
28 = ( 2 ( 2 × b + 5 + b ) 28 = 2 ( 2 b + 5 + b ) 28 = 2 ( 3 b + 5 ) 3 b + 5 = 14 3 b = 14 5 3 b = 9 b = 3 L = 2 × b + 5 = 2 × 3 + 5 = 6 + 5 L = 11
Dimensions of rectangle Length=11 m, width = 3m
