Move the slider for n all the way to the right or (type in the number 5) so that n=5. Move the P(Success) slider all of the way to the right so that P(S)=0.
1) What is the P(Failure)? P(F)=?
2) When you moved the slider for P(S), the slider for P(F) automatically moved. How does the gizmo know what P(F) will be? It changes automatically because ?P(S)=P(F).
Hint: P(S)=p and P(F)=q.
3) On the histogram, where are the data located? All of the data values are ?, so there is one bar on the left side of the graph.
4) What is the mean of the data? μ=?
Hint: μ=np
5) What is the standard deviation? σ=?
Hint: σ=npq

Step 1:-(1)
As given in the question that probability of success is 0.
P(S)=0
We know that Probability of success+probability of failure is equal to 1.
So P(S)+P(F)=1
Hence, P(F)=1P(S)
P(F)=10=1
Step 2:-(2) and(3)
It changes automatically because
1P(S)=P(F).
All the data values are similar or 0.
Step 3:-(4) and (5)
As we know that, probability of success ,
P(S)=p=0
And sample size n=5
So the mean =μ
=np=50
μ=0
Similarly standard deviation sigma =501
=0
