I try to stay away from decimals when I can. They are frequently less accurate than a fraction.
Write as:

a \times \frac{1}{3.2} = 0.8

Multiply

\frac{1}{3.2}

by 1 but in the form of

1 = \frac{10}{10}

\frac{1}{3.3}

is the same value as
