The given equation is 2L+2(L2.5)=44
Distributive the number inside the paranthesis and then remove the parenthesis, we get
2L+2L2×2.5=44
4L5=44
Add 5 on both the sides, we get
4L5+5=44+5
4L=49
Divide both the sides by four, we get
L=494
L=12.25
