Locate the GCF firstly

To find the quotient and remainder, divide the bigger by the smaller integer.

The lower value is the GCF if the remainder is 0.

If not, repeat the process using the remainder and the smaller number.

To date,

$\frac{32}{24}=1$ with remainder 8

$\frac{24}{8}=3$ with remainder 0

We may thus state that the GCF is 8.
