To convert a fraction into decimal, one needs to first make the denominator a power of 10. It is easy if denominator's only ' factors are 2 and 5. As one can multiply by 5s and 2's to get the same.
Here we have 8=2×2×2 so do we need to multiply by 5×5×5. But as 2 is also a factor of numerator, one 2 will cancel out and we need to multiply by 5×5 only.
Hence 68=2×3×5×52×2×2×5×5
=75100=0.75.
