I don't know what you mean by p because you can't graph p. I'm going to graph both x < - 3 and y < - 3
As you can see on both graphs, a dotted line is used, because the value of x < 3 or y y < 3 means that it can't equal to -3.
Also, the shaded region of the graph is the solution, because we are just finding all values of x that are less than -3 or all y values that are less than -3.
