If a = 10 b , then by taking the logarithm of both sides, we get
b = log 10 a
Since we know the value of a, you can just substitute.

From c [ O H ] = 10 p O H and c [ O H ] = 0.003 = 3 × 10 3 we have 10 p O H = 3 × 10 3
Hence
p O H = l o g 10 3 3.
So we get
p O H = 3 l o g 10 3 = 3 0.48 = 2.52.
