Then, to divide by two, we can multiply by the reciprocal of 2, or       1    2  . Multiplying fractions is easy - just multiply the tops and then multiply the bottoms. We do       5    4    ⋅      1    2   which gives       5    8  2.The other way to do this is by changing the denominators in the very beginning.       2    4   is equal to       4    8   and       3    4   is equal to       6    8  .
