Is the answer key wrong? or it's me?
Okay, so I'm studying for a math test, and this question comes from the sample test. Justify the denominator in the example:
2 x  3
I obtained the following result after multiplying the numeration by the conjugate of the denominator.
2 x + 6 x  3
But, in the answer key the answer is
2 x  6 x  3
The issue appears to be very straightforward, but I'm unsure about the solution.

2 x 3 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 2 ( x 3 ) ( x 3 ) 2 = 2 x 6 x 3

The solution is correct (you are it): You had to multiply the numerator by x  3 , not x + 3
