I would write
16 3 4 x
as
16 x 3 x 4
(multiplying by
x x
) and further
21 16 x 3 x 4 = 21 ( 3 x 4 ) 16 x 3 x 4
and so on! the last term is (simplified)
47 x 84 3 x 4
and then we have
3 7 47 x 84 3 x 4 = 3 ( 47 x 84 ) 7 ( 3 x 4 ) 47 x 84 = . . .
