A number a+ib is written as rcosθ+irsinθ or reiθ in polar form.
where r=a2+b2 and tanθ=ba

As 3=3+i0,r=32+0=9=3
and as tanθ=03=0,θ=0
Hence, 3 is written as 3cos0+isin0or 3ei0
