Make use of the following fact: For |z|1 and z1, we have
log(1z)=k=1zkk
Take z=ei and look at the imaginary part.
We hence have
log(1ei)=k=1eikkImag(log(1ei))
=Imag(k=1eikk)
which gives us
k=1sin(k)k=Imag(log(1ei))
log(1ei)=log(2sin2(12)2isin(12)cos(12))
=log(2sin(12)eiπ2ei2)
Hence
Imag(log(1ei))=1π2
which gives us
k=1sin(k)k=π12
