Could you please help me prove this: \(\displaystyle{\frac{{{2}{\cos{{\left(\frac{\theta}{{2}}\right)}}}-{1}-{\cos{\theta}}}}{{{2}{\cos{{\left(\frac{\theta}{{2}}\right)}}}+{1}+{\cos{\theta}}}}}={\frac{{{1}-{\cos{{\left(\frac{\theta}{{2}}\right)}}}}}{{{1}+{\cos{{\left(\frac{\theta}{{2}}\right)}}}}}}\)

Using the double angle formula we have
cosθ=2cos2θ21
Substituting this in, we get
2cosθ21cosθ2cosθ2+1+cosθ=2cosθ22cos2θ22cosθ2+2cos2θ2
=1cosθ21+cosθ2
