Hint:
Since tan θ = sin θ cos θ and sec θ = 1 cos θ we have, by multiplying by cos 2 θ:
sin 2 θ + 2 = 5 cos 2 θ sin 2 θ + 2 = 5 ( 1 sin 2 θ ) since  sin 2 θ + cos 2 θ = 1

tan 2 θ + 2 sec 2 θ = tan 2 θ + 2 ( tan 2 θ + 1 ) = 3 tan 2 θ + 2 = 5 tan θ = ± 1
