To do this, you must first solve the equation by moving the equation's x to the other side.
x - y = 6 ----> - y = 6 - x
Then divide the whole equation by negative on to get y by itself
- y = 6 - x - 1 ----> y = - 6 + x
Now that it is in slope-intercept form pick a number for x and plug it into the equation.
y = - 6 + 1 ----> y = - 5
This means that when x is 1 the y value is -5. You can keep doing this to graph the equation
