h ( x ) = 4 x - 5 , h ( x ) = - 1
replace h ( x ) with - 1 in the function
- 1 = 4 x - 5
we now solve for x
add 5 to both sides
- 1 + 5 = 5 x - 5 + 5
4 = 4 x
x = 1
