Let the number of children be x, students be y and adults be z.
Then,
x+y+z=900 ... (1)
And,
4x+6y+8z=5600 ... (2)
Also,
zx+y=12(x+y)2z ... (3)
On solving equation (1), (2) and (3),
x=200y=400z=300
Therefore, the number of children are 200, the number of students are 400 and the number of adults are 300.
