If (h, k) is the vertex and a point on the curve is (x, y), then general eq. of the quadratic function is given by
1) y=a(xh)2+k
Where a is const to be determine point (h, k) and (x, y)
Given (h, k)=(0, 2) and (x, y)=(1, 3)
Now put in general eq.
y=a(x0)2+2
Now put (x, y) value
3=a(10)2+2
a(1)2=1arrowa=1
Now put a and (h, k) value in eq. (1)
y=1(x0)2+2
y=x2+2
