Step 2
We know that the absolute value property of the inequality |x| Here we have,
x=2x-1, c=5
Use this property we get,
-5<2x-1<5
Add through out the inequality by "1" we get,
-5+1<2x-1+1<5+1
-4<2x<6
Divide through out the inequality by "2" we get,
42<2x2<62
-2 Therefore Solution of the inequality |2x−1|<5 in interval notation is (-2,3)
