the equation of a line in slope intercept form is.
∙xy=mx+b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept
rearrange 2x+5y=15 into this form
subtract 2x from both sides and divide terms by 5
5y=−2x+15
y = - 2 5 x + 3 in slope-intercept form
with slope = - 2 5 and y-intercept = 3
