Area of the Circle = π r 2
Area of the washer
= π ( ( x + 10 ) 2 - ( x + 6 ) 2 )
= π ( x + 10 + x + 6 ) ( x + 10 - x - 6 )
= π ( 2 x + 16 ) ( 10 - 6 )
= 8 π ( x + 8 )
