The common difference is the difference between any two consecutive terms in an arithmetic sequence.
You can find it by subtracting any term from the next term.
For example: d = T 4 - T 3 . Or in general T n - T n - 1
d = - 55 - ( - 45 ) = - 10
This agrees with what we can see that the terms are getting smaller, with a difference of 10 every time.
