The slope of the line passes through (13,20) and (16,1) is m 1 = 1 - 20 16 - 13 = - 19 3 We know condition of perpedicularity between two lines is product of their slopes equal to be -1 m 1 m 2 = - 1 or ( - 19 3 ) m 2 = - 1 or m 2 = 3 19 So the line passing through (0,-1) is y + 1 = 3 19 ( x - 0 ) or y = 3 19 x - 1
