Suppose Jenny works y hours per week. Then Adam works (y+8) hours per week. Since they earn the same amount of salary,
x(y+8)=(x+2)y
xy+8x=xy+2y
4x=y
Then we know
x(y+8)=192
x(4x+8)=192
x=6
So
y=4x
y=24
But Adam works (y+8) hours per week, so he works 32 hours.
