A(1,3), B(−5,6), C(−2,7)
Slope of A B = m = y b - y a x b - x a
m = 6 - 3 - 5 - 1 = - ( 1 2 )
Slope of perpendicular line = - ( 1 m ) = 2
Equation of line passing through C and perpendicular to A B is
y - y c = - ( 1 m ) ( x - x c )
y - 7 = 2 ( x + 2 )
y - 7 = 2 x + 4
2 x - y + 11 = 0
